Change

For the most part, none of us like change. We are comfortable with "sameness." I recently went to Walmart and they changed many of the aisles. Things were not where they are supposed to be! We do not like it when the church  changes the order of the worship service. We don't like it when they change the night our favorite television program is on.

But change is inevitable. Everything in this world is in a state of change. You and I are changing. Our society is changing.  You buy the latest gadet and by the time you learn how to use it,  a newer model is hitting the market!

There is only one thing in this universe that doesn't change or ever will change, that is Jesus Christ. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.  Malachi 3:6 says,  "I am the Lord, I change not."

In Christ we find a rock of stability. We have a friend whose word will never go out of style.  We have a Savior who is as dependable now as He was two thousand years ago.

In these times of change,  look to the God who never changes.
