Change! Just the very word
strikes terror in some people’s heart. Some have tried to resist change but you
cannot truly resist change. Some changes have been positive: inside bathrooms,
running (hot) water, modes of travel, etc.; the list of good things is endless.
But some changes have had a detrimental
effect on our culture: the “right” to have an abortion, the redefining of the
family, the national debt, the rising divorce rate, etc. This list is also
endless.
Is there an answer to change?
Glad you asked. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he
is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” Talk about change!
Jesus Christ came for the purpose of changing people’s lives. But this change
will only take place if you decide to accept Christ as your Savior. Don’t
resist this change!
