Does Christmas change you?

Have you ever thought about how certain events change your life? Marriage definitely changes your life. Having children will change your life. Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior should change your life! How will your world be different on December 26^th, January 18^th, February 12^th, or March 23^rd because of Christmas? Will you be happier? Will you have more peace in your life? Or will you simply have more things and owe more money and have to work more hours to help pay off the additional strain that dents puts on your budget?

I do not know if you have thought about it but God never asked us to remember or celebrate the birth of Christ. The celebration was man's idea. The purpose of Christmas was to bring change to our world. I am not speaking of the world in general but your personal world.

Christmas is not about shopping, gifts, trees, or even the manger. Christmas is about experiencing genuine love. Once I accept and experience God's love, my life will be transformed.
