The Owner's Manual

When I buy a new product, I admit that I don't read the owner's manual. At

least, not until I have a problem. I kind of use the "trial and error" method. But I will have to confess that reading the owner's manual first would save a lot of time and headache.

Some people live their lives the same way. They go through life using the 'trial and error" method and ignore the owner's manual for life (Bible.) It amazes me that many professing Christians do not have a Biblical World view. They have the same philosophy of life as non-believers. Right and wrong is determined by what the majority thinks, not what the Bible says.

God gave us the Bible not to constrain us but to help us know how to live and avoid shipwreck. Proverbs 3:5-6 Why do we think we know more about life that the God who created us? It is my personal opinion that the majority of the conflicts in life are a result of violating some Biblical principle; either unintentional or intentionally. You can reject the principle of gravity but if you jump off a building, you are going down!
