Time

We are told by those infomercials that precious metals such as gold and silver are our most valuable commodities. While I agree they are valuable, there is another commodity more valuable: time. As I get more chronologically challenged (older), I have to agree with my late grandfather, “As you get older the time goes faster.” Now we know that is not physically possible but it sure does feel that way.
As we look forward to 2013, we must realize that time is a gift from God which makes us accountable for how we use it. There is nothing we can do about the past years but the time in the future is ours to use wisely. As much as I would like to grab the hands of the clock and slow it down, I know it is futile.
Here is a couple to suggestions for you as you face the New Year:
We should number our days -Ps. 39:4-5. Make every day & opportunity count.

Redeem the time - Eph. 5:15-16. . We need to be conscious of how we are using our time. The A.C. Nielsen Co. tells us that the average person has spent 9 years of watching Television in a 65-year span.

Live with a Divine Appointment Book. Colossians4:5 See every moment a divine opportunity to touch a life.

Be a good steward of the time God has given you!
